This XR600 Scrambler was built for a client who wanted a simple/elegant street legal city scrambler with the capabilities to handle a dirt trail or fire road. The upgraded suspension (lowered) and LED lights all around lend to it’s do-it-all persona. It now weighs an amazing 271 pounds (a stock XR600R weighs in around 300 lbs). Blip the throttle and it rips.
This build features a custom sub-frame, rear hoop, custom seat and tank. Everything was powder coated with custom green and tan colors (headlight bucket, frame, forks, swingarm, side covers, fenders, triple clamps, & exhaust covers. Custom mounted electronics tray (for battery, flasher, and stock harness).
Tank painted matching tan powder coating with HuxMoto thumper logo and then clear-coated with epoxy for fuel resistance.
The front forks are lowered XR400 with Race Tech springs and set to his weight.
Modified stock carb with Uni filter. All new seals and bearings. Black wheels (18″ rear and 19″ front) and new chain, sprockets, brake components. Custom rear master cylinder.
Wired with LEDs to make it street legal. Customized switch for lights/horn/kill switch. Digital speedo, signals, horn, brake/tail lights.
